Life is short. Only you can truly control your choices and choosing happiness is the best way to achieve being the best that you can be. In this book, there are fifty 1-page short chapters with power thoughts and insightful quotes introducing short and easy tips to help you learn how to be happy.

Tip 1:
Charlie Chaplin once said, ‘A day without laughter is a day wasted’. Laughter triggers happiness and it can enhance immune system, boost energy, relieve physical and emotional pain and even reduce stress. So to live longer, we should let our lives be filled with laughter every day!

Tip 2:
‘Your greatness is not what you have, it’s what you give’.

We can do little things for others, e.g. holding a door open to let someone go before you. Apart from helping others, sometimes help is needed by someone around you, like your parents, your friends, your teachers and classmates. Take the high road and let them experience that loving feeling and help lift their spirits as well as yours!

Tip 3:
‘You are magic. Don’t ever apologize for the fire in you’. We definitely face failures and setbacks from time to time. Treat these experiences as opportunities for growth and learning. If everything was easy, the important things would not hold so much meaning to us. Embrace all the failures and setbacks. Life is happening for you, not to you!
